A Unique Learning Opportunity
Study & Faith Formation
Growing in Community
Study and faith formation are core elements of the FRONTIER program. FRONTIER participants undertake training within a community of practice, focussing specifically on missional practice, spiritual and personal development, and missional leadership.
Formal Study Pathways
A Partnership In Learning
FRONTIER focuses on exposure to a missional context in which growth, learning, and formation occurs within a learning community. The goal of the program is to create missional leaders for the local church who, being life-long learners, will go on to be leaders capable of renewing the local church community, or establishing new churches.
Missional Experience and Placement
Making a Difference
FRONTIER exposes participants to the missional fringe of the church, by interacting with a secular world, or engagement at points where the world interfaces with the Church. Their focus for the year will be the missional encounter, wherever that may occur. Most importantly, they experience this as a team, supported by a caring and supportive church community.
