LOCAL SUPPORTING CHURCH
Grow in a supporting community
Integral to the FRONTIER program is the involvement of the local church. Participants within the residential program, become actively involved in the missional ministry of St Luke’s Lutheran Church, Albury. In this community participants are pastorally cared for, supported and encouraged. Participants in the non-residential program, will need to ensure they have the support from their local church.
As FRONTIER is focused on enabling engagement with the unchurched world, as such the local church provides a safe place to retreat and refresh your spirit, faith and energy. Part of this involves developing intentional spiritual friendships with congregational members, with whom you can find a listening ear, prayer support, encouragement and a space to connect in a non-threatening, relaxed, friendship of faith.
