Innovative, Exceptional, Life-Changing, Community based learning
Study, formation and in-the-field practice are core elements of the FRONTIER program.
FRONTIER participants undertake fully accredited and nationally recognized training within a community of practice, focusing specifically on missional practice, spiritual and personal development, and missional leadership.
This core training, integral to successful local church missional leadership, are delivered with support from in-the-field experienced mission practitioners, church planters, and missional consultants using current research and practice.
FRONTIER is a campus of the Melbourne School of Theology (http://www.mst.edu.au/), delivering specific subjects designed to enhance the training objectives of the program.
As an affiliated college of the Australian College of Theology, FRONTIER is a campus of
Melbourne School of Theology is approved to deliver the following courses of the ACT (CRICOS 02650E):
Diploma of Ministry or
Graduate Diploma of Divinity.
All the units within FRONTIER are delivered at either:
Diploma of Ministry - forming the first year of a Bachelor of Ministry or Bachelor of Theology, or
Graduate Diploma of Divinity provide entry into post-graduate theological study and formation.
For those with a Theology degree, please contact us to discuss the Graduate Diploma in Divinity and the process to apply for RPL (recognition of prior learning) through MST.
Contact us to discsus the option of FRONTIER as an internship for those with a BTh or BMin needing pastoral experience and practice within a local church prior to formal entry into ministry within the local church.
